Parra, Rodríguez & Cavelier provides ongoing advice and legal assistance to entities not searching for profit that have a high social impact in the country. In development of the pro bonus work the Firm has become a member of the Corporation Compartamos con Colombia and the Foundation DIVIDENDO POR COLOMBIA.
The Corporation Compartamos con Colombia basically seeks: (i) To provide institutional support to a select group of entities and projects not searching for profit, in order to increase their feasibility and effectiveness; (ii) To increase the flow of private donations towards Colombia, and support their optimum utilization; and (iii) To be an example for entrepreneurs and young executives to acquire a greater social commitment with Colombia.
Together with other firms members of Compartamos con Colombia we have participated in more than 20 projects with different non-profit entities, among which are the following: Red Cross - Cundinamarca Division, Fundación CRAN, Conexión Colombia, Fundación Educacional Ana Restrepo del Corral, Fundación Hogar Nueva Granada, Solidaridad por Colombia, Fundación Albergue Infantil de Bogotá, Corporación Oro Verde, ASHOKA, Fundación NUTRIR, Corpoginebra, Fundación Carla Cristina, Sociedad Vecinal de Suba, BATUTA Fundación Promotora del Espíritu Empresarial, and the Creation of Human Web Enterprises "PROEMPRESAS".

Most of the works with such institutions and with others with whom the Firm works directly, such as Fundación Tecnovo or Fundación Best Buddies, consist of (i) performing a thorough legal study of the entity (involving its corporate, contractual, labor, tax, and intellectual property issues) when they are already incorporated, or guiding them throughout their incorporation process; (ii) advising and helping the institution in the implementation of our recommendations, and (iii) accomplishing a follow-up, giving continuous and permanent support to each institution for the development of their programs and present and future activities.
It is worthwhile highlighting that the pro bonus work of the Firm constitutes not only an area of activities and projects managed with the same professionalism, priority level and interest given to other areas and topics of the Firm, but also an entrepreneurial social policy from within, aiming at actively and proactively involving the attorneys and their assistants, the youth, our customers and, in general, all Colombians in the reconstruction of Colombia's social and human web.
