Corporate social responsibility is a priority for us.

Our contribution to the development of the country includes free legal advice to non-profit organizations, as well as cash contributions to some of them.

In this manner, throughout the years we have provided to several non-profit organizations with free legal advice that has allowed them to have a solid legal structure and in most cases to enhance their activities.

Thanks to our partnership with Compartamos con Colombia, we have contributed in turning many non-profit social organizations into true social enterprises.

We aid Dividendo por Colombia in a program to support child education through grants done by employees, which are matched by the Firm. We have assisted international entities such as the Cyrus Vance Center in New York, the World Bank and Grameen Bank in pro bono activities.

We are also members of Fundación Ideas por la Paz, an organization that seeks to prepare the country for the post-conflict era, through forums, conferences and various publications of national and international reach.

During 2008 Rodríguez & Cavelier assisted in the preparation of, and, financially sponsored the Universidad de los Andes Law School team that participated in the Elsa Moot Court Competition in Geneva. For the first time in the history of this competition a team from a non english speaking developing country won the first prize. Rodríguez & Cavelier is very proud to have had participated in this process.
